Over the next fortnight we’re renovating my kitchen. “We” is: myself, my mother, father, sister and Dave, who all arrive at various points this weekend.

We’ll also have the occasional assistance of willing volunteers, hopefully!

I started today – we’ll be keeping a photoblog on my gallery.

Gah!!! HOW expensive? I kid you not – the short-term version of this site’s subscription weighs in at no less than £2 a day.

I’d love to go sailing with some of these people, but I refuse to pay that much.
